Welcome to Boldmere Junior School.
I am extremely proud and privileged to be the Head Teacher of such a happy, vibrant and dynamic school. We continually strive to stimulate and challenge the children, so they receive the very best education possible. At our school we have high expectations and the children reward us by always giving their best.
We believe that Boldmere Junior School is a special place at the heart of our community. It is vital for us to develop positive and productive relationships with our children and their families, which enables us to create a friendly, safe and supportive environment for all to achieve and enjoy.
We have a caring, hard working and incredibly committed team that strive to bring out the very best in our children. We are all dedicated to developing the knowledge, skills and understanding which enables children to be equipped for the future and become, contented and fulfilled young people.
Mr C Glasgow
Head Teacher
A really well done to the Year 5 football team, who came second in the Sutton Schools annual 6 a side tournament held at Wyndley.
We started in a group of 5, with the first team from each mini-league going through to a round robin final.
Qualifying results were 1-1 V Holy Cross, 1-0 V Highclare, 2-1 V Coppice B, and 2-0 V Shrubbery.
We then played Coppice A team { who have astroturf at their school) and drew 2-2, Coppice then beat Maney Hill 2-0, so we went into our final game V Maney Hill needing 2 or more goals. We dominated the game, with Maney not having a single shot, however couldn't get a goal-result ws 0-0. So Coppice won, with us coming second. It was a great afternoon, and a big well done to all the players.
We will receive our medals on the 5th July at the presentation evening at Sutton Town Hall.
