Welcome to Boldmere Junior School,
I am extremely proud and privileged to be the Head Teacher of such a happy, vibrant and dynamic school. We continually strive to stimulate and challenge the children, so they receive the very best education possible. At our school we have high expectations and the children reward us by always giving their best. We believe that Boldmere Junior School is a special place at the heart of our community. It is vital for us to develop positive and productive relationships with our children and their families, which enables us to create a friendly, safe and supportive environment for all to achieve and enjoy. We have a caring, hard working and incredibly committed team that strive to bring out the very best in our children. We are all dedicated to developing the knowledge, skills and understanding which enables children to be equipped for the future and become, contented and fulfilled young people,

Ducks in School
The teachers had great fun this week catching the nine ducklings and the mother duck who were in the Lower quad. After catching eight of the babies, Mr Higgins caught the mother. We then decided to let the mother go, so we could find the last baby, as we knew the baby would go to it's mother. This we did quite easily, then the problem was catching the mother again, who by now was in a bit of a state! After a few fruitless attempts, we put the babies in one of the classrooms, left the door open, and within seconds the mother waddled in, we shut the door, and Mr Hill eventually managed to grab the mother. We took all 10 ducks to Hill Hook Nature reserve, where they soon settled down and happily swam off into the sunset!

Year 3 at Conkers
We all had a fantastic time at Conkers, the weather was great, the children superb and those ice-creams gorgeous!-teachers only of course!
We went an assault course, a large play area, train, bare foot walk and Enchanted forest-it really is an amazing place. Most photographs of 3H I'm afraid, and taken by 3H children.
Football Presentation Evening
Last week three of our Football teams received their medals at the annual presentation evening at the Town Hall.
We won medals for second in the league, winners of the Year 5 tournament and third place in the B/C tournament. The highlight of the night was of course the raffle! We won the first 2 main prizes and 2 others as well! William won the Star prize, a signed WBA shirt! Can someone tell Billy to open his eyes next time!
Lower School Sports
We all had a great time last week when Lower school had their sports day, and the sun came out. All photos by 3H children.
